About Me

Hey there! I’m Tressa, a UX researcher with a passion for people, curiosity, and asking all the "whys." I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia, and recently made the leap from healthcare—where I spent years as a pharmacy technician mixing chemo for kids (yes, superhero stuff)—into the world of user experience. I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior and what makes people tick, and now I get to bring that obsession into UX, blending my healthcare background with research to help create products that actually get people. I’m upbeat, determined, and a little dance-obsessed. Before all this, I was a dance instructor and still try to bust a move whenever I can. Whether it’s in the lab or on the dance floor, I’m all about bringing energy, empathy, and creativity to everything I do.

Superhero Mode

I’m really proud of my background in healthcare. There’s nothing quite like knowing you played a part in helping a child get better—it’s one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done. Creating something that could actually heal a child? That’s a feeling I’ll never forget. Even though I’m ready to move on from the healthcare field, I truly value the time I spent there and everything it taught me.

Mind in Motion

Studying Psychology gave me skills I could actually use in the dance studio. It helped me figure out how to motivate my students and show them how to express their emotions through movement. But honestly, even though I was the one teaching, I always say they taught me way more than I ever taught them.
